little henry, wide eyed after only a few minutes in this world, gets a warm hug from a very tired mommy.

... what can I say... an experience you just can't explain, and have to experience to understand. He had a little cone head and a nose pushed off to one side because his head was squished inside of mommy for a few weeks.. so hopefully it will straighten up a bit over the next couple weeks. but of course, to us, he's the most handsome and cute baby in the world...

... and Henry Eugene enters the world, healthy, crying, and with a head of hair and a hairstyle that make Brad Pitt jealous.. mom did well.. after getting to the hospital at 5am, and starting the final push at 7:30pm, our little bruiser came into the world at 10:26 on 10/27 at 8lbs 8.4oz and 21"

here we go...

beth started regular contractions around 2am Monday morning... we hastily packs some bags, and went in not knowing what would come next.

Sonogram

Our last sonogram was yesterday... sorry no pictures. They turned out too garbled to make sense of. But he'll be out soon enough for pictures... good news is that he's in position, about 7.5 lbs, has big feet, a little hair, and will probably grow about a half pound a week... he could be here basically any day.. Beth has a doctors appointment thursday, and we'll find out more.

Moms

what can I say... it was great to see all of beth's friends and family supporting us for our first child. Beth has her work cut out for her in this picture =)

It was quite an event... the shower went very well... great weather.. the house was filled with women, food, presents, and good cheer. Beth was still recovering from two weeks of a bad cold, and lost her voice throughout the day. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the showers success!!
